IDEAS WORTH SPREADING
Warwick India Forum is amongst the most awaited student-run conferences in University of Warwick; founded 6 years ago with an aim to provide students a platform to exchange knowledge and gain awareness about the rich culture and history of a nation that has exemplified the saying ‘unity in diversity’.
WIF offers to its Warwick and external audience a glimpse of the core values of inclusiveness and progress that the Indian republic is built upon. We give our audience an insight into the socio-politico-economic context in which India is growing not only within its borders but also on the international scale. Moreover, as 2017 is the India-UK Year of Culture, our executive team believes it is evermore important for us to highlight India's multifaceted and flavourful cultural mix created by the past legacy and the new contemporary identity.
"India is not, as people keep calling it, an underdeveloped country, but rather, in the context of its history and cultural heritage, a highly developed one in an advanced state of decay."
